The humble spoon!

If I had to thank the Pandemic and extended hours spent in lockdown, hands down, it would have to be expanding my repertoire of photography skillsets—initiating my change in focus from predominantly landscape photography to more indoor and macro photography.

Macro photography, otherwise known as extreme close-ups, appears much larger than in real life.  By definition, this photo of spoons isn’t technically a good example of Macro photography,  but it was one of my first genuine attempts at this new style, and I love it.

The combination of black and white, light and dark, and the reflections on the surface make these spoons appear pretty unique.
