Contemplation

So simple, yet this photo has a lot to tell. Nearly three years have passed since I discovered the transformative nature of photography, and I’ve recently begun to explore the concept of storytelling through photography.   I refer to this picture as ‘Contemplation’. When I look at this man standing alone on the pier, I see someone deep in thought. It yields a sense of peace and splendour. Ofcourse, the story is entirely subjective, and what you see may bear no likeness to the story I see. That is photography; that is storytelling.
