Windows to the world
I am lucky to have an abundance of windows in my home. During times of extended lockdown, windows are the primary source of connection to the outside world. The light that beams through a window is universally changing. One minute it may be bright, the next dark and shadowy. Sometimes the bright light reflects off the glass and creates beautiful rainbows on our walls and floors. When shadows cast through the glass, all sorts of patterns, lines and shapes randomly appear on the walls and underneath our staircase. As I said, I’m lucky to have an abundance of windows.
